Athens Wine & Dine + A Brew or Two
The Athens Spalding Memorial Library hosted a garden party fundraising event with music, raffles, a silent auction, and tastings of wine, beer, and food sponsored by local businesses. Dandy served a selection of pizzas and sliders kindly made by our Food Service Director, James Fry.
PA State Little League Tournament
Dandy catered a picnic dinner for the players and family of the PA State Little League Tournament hosted at the Athens Little League Field.
30th Annual Charity Challenge Golf Tournament
This year's Williams Companies Charity Challenge raised nearly $81,000 benefitting 35 nonprofit organizations that directly impact our local community.
Tastes of the Valley 2024
Dandy participated in the Tastes of the Valley event at the Waverly Glen, benefitting the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce. Local businesses and restaurants offered samples of food and drinks to the community, accompanied by live music.
Valley Arts4All 2024
Dandy was a proud sponsor of the Valley Arts4All, a festival showcasing the arts, music, performances, and food.
Easter Egg Hunt
Dandy hosted two Easter Egg Hunt events at the Round Top Recreational Area in Athens, PA and at Alba Park in Canton, PA. Store managers planned and executed the events, and lots of kids and family enjoyed a fun day in their communities!
Pawz & Purrz
Pawz and Purrz Animal Rescue of Southern Tier NY received $1,945 in donations raised during the Dandy Canes annual holiday campaign.
Valley Food Pantry
Three Dandy locations raised over $1,000 for the Valley Food Pantry during the annual Dandy Canes holiday campaign. The Valley Food Pantry serves residents in need in the the school districts of Waverly, NY; Sayre, PA; and Athens, PA.
Luke's Hidden Haven
During Dandy Canes, several Dandy store locations raised over $5,700 for Luke's Hidden Haven, a no-kill rescue / sanctuary outside of Rome, PA.
McLean Fire Department
Dandy 47 of Freeville, NY selected the McLean Fire Department as its charitable recipient of $2,375 from the annual Dandy Canes campaign.
Salvation Army - Sayre Corps
The Salvation Army Sayre Corps received over $2,700 in donations from three Dandy store locations during the annual Dandy Canes holiday campaign.
Dandy Pink Cups
Dandy Pinks Cups is an annual campaign run through October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All Large coffee sales in October were donated to the Guthrie Breast Care Fund, which benefits local patients battling breast cancer. In 2023, Dandy raised $20,000.
Leader of the Pack 2023
Team Dandy participated in the Leader of the Pack Corporate Challenge, which brings local businesses together to raise funds for the Food Bank of the Southern Tier.
Dandy's 40th Anniversary
As part of its 40th anniversary celebration, Dandy donated $4,000 to ten local charities, totaling $40,000. A special event at the Dandy Corporate Center was held in August, 2023.
Gaffer City Fütball Club
Dandy proudly sponsored the Gaffer city Fütball Club's 2023 season.
Williams Companies Charity Challenge Golf Tournament
The annual Williams Companies Charity Challenge is a charitable golf tournament which raises funds for over 30 local charities every summer.
Child Hunger Outreach Partners
Every Spring, shelf resets are completed at all Dandy stores. Any unexpired products are donated to Child Hunger Outreach Partners (CHOP) in Towanda, PA.
Valley Arts4All
Dandy participated in the Valley Arts4All with fun activities for kids and parents.
Bradford County Regional Arts Council
Dandy donated $1,000 to the Bradford County Regional Arts Council in support of the Susquehanna Summer Solstice festival, celebrating the arts, music, and the environment.
The Williams Companies focuses on four main missions within our community: Youth, Pets, Health & Wellness and Feeding The Community. While we strive to support several organizations within our community, at this time we are not accepting requests for golf tournament sponsorships, individual fundraisers, religious or political groups/organizations.
